Since I moved to this state in 1983, this apartment complex has done little in the way of changes. About 2 years ago the did renovate some of the apartments but never will I ever recommend these apartments to anyone without significant changes in the apartments, landscaping, parking lot or the elimination of gang activity.

I've lived here for almost 2 years. First, When I signed my lease they had to change my locks because they lost the keys. Then when I was locked out of my apt almost a year ago, they lost the spare key to the new lock they replaced! Then tried to charge me $50 to have it replaced AGAIN. No. I think not. Secondly, I have a 3bedroom unit. The 2/3bedroom area is the worst to live in simply because other people do not control their children. They do not make their children use the TRASH CANS. It never fails there's so much trash throughout the day it's disgusting. I think the flies, roaches, mice, and bed bugs are PAYING RENT to stay here. That's the only reason I can think of as to why they have not gotten rid of them. Thirdly, I did not see anything in my lease about a curfew. I am an adult. If I want to step outside of my apartment to have a cigarette (because I DO NOT SMOKE IN MY HOUSE) than I should be able to do that without that fat, lazy, unnecessarily rude, kicked out of the police academy because he couldn't pass a psych evaluation, blue ford truck driving security guard coming to harass me. I cause no problems. I don't have pets or extra people living with me. The laundry station by my apartment does not even work and has not worked since I moved in here. The leasing office has been nice to me. But I've also seen and heard how they treat other tenants that they want to kick out. In some cases, I do not blame them. But the living conditions here are truly ridiculous. I can guarantee you I have the absolute CLEANEST apartment in the entire complex. Ask any of the maintenance men. The fact that they are surprised at how well my house is put together is baffling. Finally, The remodeled apartments are a joke. They are cheaply and poorly put together. The cabinets are not put in properly. The bottoms of the drawers fall out and they just super glue them back together. The floor is chipped and broken apart. My air conditioner leakes everytime I turn it on at 75°. Their solution is to not turn it down so low. Well excuse the hell out of me, I was sure I paid my own electric bill. If I want my house to be 55° and I pay for it, my AC needs to be fixed and not leaking down my hallway floor. The water leakes have also caused mold that they just put paste over to pass a property inspection. The holes in the walls from the pipes are not covered so critters can come and go as they please. They "shampoo" the carpet instead of getting the INFESTED carpet replaced. I wondered why when I moved in there were bottles of boraic acid under the sinks. I soon found out. I get that these are low income apartments. But people should not have to live in conditions like these. Especially when people like me use the HUD Housing to serve it's purpose and treat the property and it's managers with respect. I do not recommend anyone moving into these apartments unless this environment is what you are used to. Unless this environment entertains you. Some people have lived here for years. I just don't see how. SideNote:: my kids never go outside over here. The park is equally if not more disgusting than the inside of these apts.
