Love this place! My go to when I want Sushi. Crunch roll was delicious Had shrimp fried rice too and bomb like alwaysCalifornia Roll is always my favorite
Nice sushi place great service lots of selection and they have a good drink selection. Plenty of parking. They have outdoor patio covered seating. The signature rolls are tasty as seen in my photos. The ramen used some frozen vegetables and had a bland broth as a result, would avoid it unless they improve it.
So glad this place is open for dine in service. Sushi taste so much better fresh served not in to go container's. Hana has expanded it's restaurant and everything is new. Always a great experience. Thanks gang for GREAT service
Hidden gem! Great service, good menu, tasty food and knowledgeable staff talk to them and ask for recommendations, you won’t regret it. Staff took time to answer our questions and explain menu items Food came out quickly, nice presentation and excellent taste
I am so picky about my sushi. To be honest, I don't know the difference between Taco Shoppe or Tacos El Gordo, but sushi... that's a different story. I used to frequent Okawa in Santee but they recently went through a change in ownership and the food is terrible there. So I decided to go back to Hana Sushi since I hadn't been there in about five years. During that time, they've changed a lot of things. The restaurant bought the space next door and expanded, making the dining area twice what it was in the past. The sushi bar area is twice what it was, making the area more open to more chefs cooking simultaneously, and the food comes out even faster. As you walk in, you'll see the old aquarium at the entrance with that one giant fish floating back and forth lazily. Don't tap the glass; it scares the fish and the staff will give you dirty looks. : You're greeted by a bunch of friendly faces and they'll vaguely wave you towards a table. Don't be offended; they're not rude - the ladies there are just a little on the shy side. TIPS: - When you pull into the shopping center, be careful as some coming out of stores tend to not look before they step out between cars - As I mentioned earlier, be patient. If they're not coming to your table enough, just politely raise a hand and they'll be right there - Don't place all of your orders at the same time. If you're getting appetizer, order that first. Then when you're halfway through, order entrée, etc. The servers are good, but the food runners just bring out whatever pops up so sometimes, you can get them all at the same time - Absolutely, definitely try the tempura udon. It is so warm, savory, and filling - Jalapeno bomb. Yes. Every time we've gone, we've never had a complaint. The fish are always, always fresh, they always bring us a little extra maybe to get us to try something new, and the service has always been friendly and prompt. This is now my favorite sushi restaurant.
Mmm. This place is delicious! There was no wait. We got drinks, plum wine and apple soju, and they were at the table right away. We ordered three rolls and two sashimi. They took a little bit but they were worth it. The sashimi was thick, fresh, and so tasty! The rolls were very delicious and I 100% recommend this place!Dine in: YesOutdoor seating: Yes
Second time here. Very nice restaurant, clean and well kept. Service was fantastic. Quality of the sushi was amazing for a small strip mall spot. Overall, had an amazing time. The 4 star review is because of the price of Salmon Roe nigri, listed on the menu as "market price". Review of my receipt had two orders at $13.75 each. That's almost $14 for two pieces of Ikura sushi. I should have asked what the "market price" was, that's on me. But, it's not a specialty item and never imagined it would cost that much. Buyer beware. ASK!
Waited about an hour for sushi that felt an hour old. Barely any flavor. No real texture to it. Place just felt cheap. Got 3 different rolls, hoping to at least get something worth it. I won't be coming back.Food: 2/5
The portions were hefty. The customer service was alright, they made sure we were treated well and served promptly. The sashimi I got with my bento box was really awesome, it had a huge portion for only 5 pieces. I was a little annoyed that I had to choose between miso soup OR salad, when other places give both in a bento. Otherwise, for $14.50 for gyoza, California roll, salad, and a big scoop of rice, that was a sweet deal.
Presentation, flavor, and service is all on point! Sushi here is not just assembled and served, it's handcrafted to perfection and carefully designed. I ate here today for the first time and it's more amazing than my friend even described! I'm already looking forward to my next visit and trying other rolls from their menu. Prices are reasonable and quality is high, you won't regret coming here.
