Unfortunately it wasn't until we got the recent bill that we realized we had a leak. We could tell it was nothing in the house and with all the recent rain it wasn't evident that it was the yard line as the yard was totally saturated with rain. We called Hansen Plumbing and within a couple of hours he was on site confirming that we indeed had a yard line failure. Happy with the estimate we agreed he should start ASAP which was the next morning as it was late in the day. Promptly  the next morning he came rolling in with his backhoe and  crew and began digging. After opening the ground it was apparent the leak was caused by many rocks being piled in the ditch after initial installation of the PVC yard line. John informed me that if precautions are not taken during installation to protect the water line from the rocks they will eventually puncture the line giving us exactly what we're dealing with today. So in other words there were likely many leaks in this line at the moment! So the best thing to do is to replace the entire line and start over with a new plastic line, not PVC. John could have just as easily repaired the first leaks we found setting us up for future service calls, but he did not. His reasoning was very solid, commonsensical and he obviously cared enough to be truthful with us and advise on the best choice. By the end of the day we had water again with no leaks, and considering how wet the yard was they did a great job putting everything back together!
 I would recommend John Hansen from Hansen Plumbing to anyone in need of a fine, honest plumber!

Do not use this service.  They quoted to do the job for less, but wasn't worth it in the end.

They arrived late (I'm barely out of city limits), did not have all the materials needed for the job (had to use some of mine, ruining one of them), was rude to his workers, and was rude to me right after getting paid.

I should have checked the reviews of this service over on Yellow Pages or Yelp (granted the bad review was hidden on Yelp), because they could have warned me about this.
