Slimy extortionists and absolutely disgraceful operators who prey upon people like the slimy rats that they are. “Officer “127 in particular is a disgraceful wretch of a person. I would give these clowns a -5 star review if it was possible. With extreme prejudice may this agency rot.
Nothing like having an emergency, forgetting your phone and not being able to pay to park while you take care of your emergency only to be told “it’s a valid ticket” with absolutely no sympathy. Heartless.
Absolutely terrible. The people here couldn't care less about anybody that calls or has any issues with being ticketed, regardless of how polite you are, they make it very clear that your opinion, any evidence you have, or your own life situation doesn't matter. Even spots that are marked on their own maps they give out to residents are not accurate, and if you follow their guidance on parking you will still be ticketed. This is essentially an extra taxation on the residents of Harrisburg, as they go out of their way to find ways to ticket you. Once more, the employees themselves and absolutely horrendous and rude and go out of their way to make certain you know that they don't care about you at all, they only care about how much money they can extract from Harrisburg residents.
$35 Fine PARKING MACHINE NOT WORKING...and and many other Senior Citizens parked in front of Social Security office me 10 minutes All of us got tickets and fines!!! Yes there is a small sign on the machine that if the machine isn't working ...find another!!! ...in this case it was around the corner hidden...me and other senior citizens have problems walking...Horrible system Horrible fine happy town
I was handed a $30 parking violation ticket when I was inside the car with my 5 month old. I had an emergency blinkers on and was coming out to pay the meter; this lady who was issuing a ticket was rude and didn’t listen to anything but said ticket is already issued and flew away. Never ever had seen this rudeness in my life, stopped a car for a second and had to pay $30. Could have appealed but didn’t want to spend so much time, I had no mistakes here. I have no problem with nobody but this ticketing lady had to listen at least then to say ticket is already issued and run. Very unprofessional and lack of knowledge.
I parked outside my home and wrongfully me and three other cars were give a ticket with a 515 violation of “No Parking Permit” in a Street where “Permits ARE NOT Required”. I called the office and of course they do not answer. Now I have to take time off of work to go to the office. This Parking Authority is Terrible, they need to pay more attention to their job and provide professional customer service. They honestly make people want to move out of Harrisburg or not to visit.
The parking enforcement “officers” have been harassing the residents of midtown during the construction of 2nd Street. They have driven in circles at 6am around the new roundabout while blaring their horn the entire time to get people to move their cars! So inappropriate. How they have handled the construction has been disgraceful honestly. I’m ashamed to have them represent my city.
Dude was driving drunk going east on 81 not caring about the world almost hitting multiple cars. Swerving, tailgating & not even driving fully in the lane. Also was on the phone. Got off on linglestown/paxtonia. Scary dude. Should’ve called the cops but didn’t get a pic of the plates.
These folks are always incredibly helpful and prompt to find a solution. Thanks!
I got a ticket for parking during street cleaning on a Friday but street cleaning on my street is on a Thursday. If you are going to change the day that you are cleaning the street please, inform the residents that park there.
