The barbecue was decent. The meat had decent flavor and the same went for the sides. The location itself is great and very relaxing. The bread and the potato salad were both underwhelming. Overall the place was a good stop and I was mostly satisfied when I left.

This was really good. Really, really good. If you're passing through Lampasas, make this a priority. Totally awesome. I had the cheeseburger, some sausage, brisket, and the mac and cheese. Comfort food to the extreme. Kudos!

First of all I didn't want to even give one star but had to in order to "review". We went in on Wednesday a little after 5 pm,closed at 7 pm,asked for fries was told the fryer had been turned off. (Menu had "hamburger fries" as the daily maybe??) We ordered pulled pork sandwiches was offered sauce,onion,pickles. Asked for sauce and onions/pickles on side(just in case)got back to our camper(around the corner). NO sauce,NO onions/pickles. Got a small jalapeno potato salad($2)it tasted like store bought with pickled jalapenos in it which was nasty! By far one of the worst bbq places we've been to. If people say that it is "good,great" bbq then they truly haven't had GOOD bbq!! We try bbq places everywhere we go and have yet to find better than back home in Arkansas! Worst $21+ we've spent in a while!!!

The sausage was wonderful. The pulled pork sandwich had a nice flavor as well. Expansive outdoor seating.

The sauce tastes like it came from a bottle. The brisket was lacking moisture and flavor. I never put sauce on bbq but I did this time to add flavor and moisture.
