Great venue to see live local music. Metal night was awesome! So nice to see some diversity of music in Lampasas finally! Service was wonderful and all stuff including owners where very friendly and involved with people attending. Another great bonus was the drink prices! 4.50 for large cup of Jameson and Dr. Pepper! A drink like this would never be this cheap in Austin for live music. Thank you for putting on a organized and awesome concert Twisted Oaks! Will definitely be coming back.

One hour later, no food...Too bad, first time here it was great. Definitely not managed we'll. Hope it improves. Update, back for a third try. Service fantastic, fun atmosphere, but food was mediocre for the first time. Pass on the unseasoned salsbury steak and packaged gravy but try the jalapeno and bacon appetizer.

The first time we went there and we ordered a chicken salad, a chicken fried chicken, and a chicken fried steak - small. The sides included fried okra - marvelous. For the price the servings were large. The server was very helpful and prompt, including telling us promptly when the kitchen backed up. The delay was minimum. We plan to return.

I can't say enough good about this place. The staff are all amazing and sweet. The owners are caring and down-to-earth, real people who care immensely about their business, their patrons and their community.
