This place is a hidden gem!! I walked into this dealership alone and a female the only two things they say you should never do and to my surprise I never felt like easy prey or like I was being taken advantage of; I had the pleasure of working with Joe who happened to be the manager. He answered all my questions and took the time out to deal with any concerns I had. He worked with me with the price of the vehicle until we reached an agreeable price and as Joe was writing up the bill of sale I was looking for the “hidden fees” I’ve heard so much about from my friends and family and to my surprise there were none. Honestly the only fee is the documentation for plates and registration which is only $120. You would expect that after I bought the car that would be the end of that transaction.. But he still checked up me to make sure my vehicle was still performing up to my expectations. Since this was my first car I was as a little jittery about buying a lemon and even took my car to my mechanic for him to inspect and he was actually impressed at how well the car was running. At one point the info system on the car told me that I needed an oil change only 3 weeks after buying it so I took it in and they checked the fluids and told me that there was brand new oil in the engine and that I had at least 3000 miles to go I just needed to reset my computer so it would tell me the correct time I needed an oil change. This showed me that the car was well maintinenced by Hatt auto before it was given to me. I know this is a long review but this is a great place to come if you are searching for honesty. Even a month after my purchase the day I went to get the official plates for my car I was having problems with my tires because of a mistake I had made, I asked for help and Joe personally went out in the snow to check the psi on my tires and filled them up for me at the 7/11. I don’t think most car dealership’s would go out of their way to make sure that even after your purchase that your car in still in tip top shape unless you had a warranty which I only had on the engine and transmission cause it was a used car. Everyone in the dealership is friendly and they treat you well, it was like buying a car from family member. I don’t regret my purchase I love my car and am thankful for the great experience.

They gave me superb service from beginning to end! Peter was pleasant, patient and generous in making my purchase a well informed and comfortable experience! They even picked me up from my hotel near the airport, since I decided to fly out to drive the car back to California! I had a fantastic trip across our nation which was completely comfortable in a car that gave no problems at all during that long drive!

My experience at hatt auto sales was very good and smooth. The vehicle i purchased was the same as the manager described to me. No hidden fees and i felt comfortable the whole process of purchase. For any new customers i highly reccomend talking to the manager Joe. He definatley helped my situation with quality service and i will return here when i am ready to make my next purchase.

I had a great experience at Hatt Auto Sales in Elizabeth NJ. On 2/18/17 I purchased a 2002 Durango as a second car and worked with Joe. Initially when I arrived to the lot, the owner greeted me and offered breakfast and coffee before I even looked at the Durango. He was very welcoming and from that moment I knew that this was going to be a great experience. Then Joe took me on a test drive for a bit and was easy to work with, and made the deal go smooth. Not only did they prep the car and clean it up for me, they assisted me with getting the car to my house in Staten Island. I would highly recommend purchasing a used car from Hatt Auto Sales. I have been driving the Durango every day for a week now and have had no issues. Thank you Joe for an awesome experience, I will definitely come back to you guys the next time I’m looking for a used car.
