If I could I would give them 0 stars. This is the worst moving company I've ever experienced! They originally sent a moving truck to my house a month early because the contact person got his dates moved up. That probably should have been a indicator of the disaster to come. My husband and I relocated from Pensacola, FL to San Francisco, CA. The movers came July 28th. We were told they'd be there between 8-9am. I received a call at 7:45 that they were on their way (estimating their arrival about 8:30). They did not show up until 9:15. We arrived in San Francisco on August 1st. We knew we'd spend a few days without our stuff. That was no problem. According to our contract they have until August 12th to deliver our belongings. While on the road we checked in daily. Our estimated date of delivery constantly changed. Tomorrow is their deadline for their guaranteed delivery date. They are now telling me my stuff will not be here until Monday August 14th. My husband and I start our new jobs that day and they are expecting us to just take off and accommodate around their schedule. No one is sympathetic to our situation. They refuse to make an afternoon delivery to work around our schedules. No one at the company is willing to help. They state they will call back but they rarely ever do. I am beyond frustrated. I hardly ever write bad reviews but I'm hoping this could help anyone encounter the same problem in the future. STAY AWAY! It's the worth money to just book with another company!

Cookie & Haynes are the best. I had a problem with a delivery that I could not accommodate so I called haynes. 20 minutes later cookie called to tell me my delivery was safe at Haynes which saved us having to spend hours hand loading a truck full of special materials. Thanks, cookie & Haynes.

I have read the other reviews and do not feel this is a fair representation of this company. I have called on them several times and each and every time they went above and beyond to help me make my moves happen. I run a business myself and understand it takes alot for someone to post a positive review, but people are quick to post a negative one. For as long as they have been in business, only 2 negative reviews is a tremendous achievement. I would highly recommend them for any move without hesitation.

The most horrible stressful move I have ever been through. The first move was to a small rental house with the rest of our belongings going in storage. They dragged our new $5000 memory foam mattress across the ground , ruining it. For an encore, they broke the legs off of my husband's desk. The second move was from Pensacola to Winter Haven. They sent a truck that was already full, so they had to send a second truck to get the rest of our belongings. They scheduled to pick up in Pensacola on a Thursday and deliver to Winter Haven on a Tuesday--five days sleeping on the floor with a quadriplegic adult son. (They were able to shorten that by picking up on Friday and delivering on Monday). The movers that delivered the first truck were careful, but the movers on the second truck that came two weeks later were horrifying. They nearly ran my son's $9000 electric wheelchair off the side of the ramp coming out of the truck, then they dropped my couch, shattering the two front legs. For an encore, they finished breaking the rest of the legs off of my husband's desk. After 30 minutes, I was shaking all over from stress. The furniture came out of the truck all damaged--stains, cracks, missing pieces. Several boxes were missing and never found, but I just couldn't wait to get these people off of my property. NEVER NEVER hire Haynes Van and Storage to move you unless you purchase the very pricey insurance they offer--you will need it.
