When I rented a one-way truck, they told me that they would add 50 miles to the mileage between my old home and my new home to cover any back-and forth from the dealer to my home. They actually added over 150 miles to that total so I paid significantly more than was necessary. I put 638.1 miles on the truck and was billed for 786. I should have been more careful and double checked them, but I trusted their numbers. Won't make that mistake again. Other than that, they had a clean store, provided quick service and were friendly. Definitely check the mileage they suggest though.

Was charged $15 for 1/8 tank of gas. The gas level was also marked incorrect when I picked it up.

Store Manager Canaan is always great to deal with. He respects his customers and gets you in and out on your way quickly. Sadly, I can't say this for the other U-Haul locations in Pensacola. This is why I go out of my way to drive farther from my home in Pace to do business with Canaan. He is a hard-worker and almost lives at the Downtown Pensacola U-Haul store!! Rock On Canaan!!!

They didn't have the boxes I wanted, but the people were friendly and helped me find a different option.

There is young man that works there pretty much any time you can walk in.. Not only was he considerate,, but went far beyond the call of duty.. I travel often, seen a lot of uhaul places.. This one because of him,, was by far the best..
