Just didn't cut it with me. A pub seeking to hit it off with a pricy menu. Scallops were delicious though. Onion rings starter okay but $9.! Fleet of Smuttynose beers subpar thought. The most ripoff item was the sweet potato ice cream dessert. Good but had only three table spoons of ice scream... Really tablespoons for $7.!!?!? Been there won't be back.

We visited for lunch on Valentine's Day. Though there were few others having a late lunch with us, the staff was very attentive and the food and beers were both excellent. Note: If you are going to do a tasting at Smuttynose, across the parking lot, the tasting card you get there gives you a discount off a beer at Hayseed's, so you may want to do the tasting first.

One of my favorite stops on my way back home to MA. Smuttynose brewery shares the parking lot. Food and beer are both great. Easy 10 minute detour off of Route 95.

Beautiful restaurant on the grounds of Smuttynose Brewing Company, Towle Farm, Hampton, NH. The restaurant is in the original Towle family's farmhouse from the 1800s. The barn on the site was built in 1740. The food at Hayseed is amazing! I had the Monte Christo with maple syrup and butter... stunning. There is indoor and outdoor seating. The outdoor seating area is very picturesque. The grounds are beautiful. You can take a free tour of the brewery and if you pay $4 you can have up to 4 samples of their craft beers and you can also have a beer at Hayseed for just $3. There is a gift shop with numerous Smuttynose memorabilia and souvenirs for adults and children (t-shirts for kids). Adult shirts run $10 to $80. They also sell their craft beers at a discount... average is $6 for a 6 pack, $12 for a 12 pack. Cases are also available.

The food is delicious. Great Smuttynose and guest beers, and they do small pours. The staff was incredibly friendly and the building is beautiful. A great place.
