We went to Mombo for restaurant week and were not disappointed. The upscale restaurant consistently serves creative dishes that are incredibly delicious. I opted for the pork pie first course - based on a family recipe from chef/owner Tom. This was my first tourtiere and I loved it. The 7 pepper marinated hangar steak was tender and wonderfully accompanied by smoked whipped potatoes and maple roasted carrots. By this time I was full, but could not pass up the cider donut cake. You will not be disappointed if you visit Limbo. Restaurant week is through 11/11, but this restaurant is worth a visit anytime.

Great food and very cozy but beautiful atmosphere. Decorations were festive. The staff is very knowledgeable about the menu and again the food is superb.

Wife and I went for our anniversary dinner, and I gotta hand it to them, they can make a salad, and can prepare meat fantastically. My wife's dinner was great, but mine was a waste of money. I got the skirt steak, which was cooked exactly as I asked for. Great! The chimichurri was good too! However, that was the only edible thing on the plate. Now, I'm a guy that likes hot things (used a bunch of hot sauce today even) but the risotto was somehow both watery and too hot even for me. When I told the waitress, all I got in response was a dessert menu—and when I refused the opportunity to spend more money, the check. Now I'm fine with paying for food I've eaten, but literally 0 effort was given to attempt to make the situation better. A side, a glass of milk, or even so much as an apology would have worked. I get that sometimes kitchens have an off prep—everyone swings and misses sometimes—but if I'm paying $100 for a meal, I expect to leave... well... with something resembling what I paid for. I'm never going back. You'll probably have better luck, though.
