Worse pet store ever? Never buy your fish here, don't support this place, drive farther to Big Al's.... I asked a simple question if those small aquariums would be a good temporary location for my small baby fishes, and the older lady asked me what baby fishes, they are all small what are you talking about? And said they would just die, unless your using aquarium water. Well obviously fish owners know that? Her attitude was just plain disrespectful, and while paying for my stuff, she was playing on her iPad and telling the girl helping me pay to "look at this, look at this".....also the person working at cash yawned in my face, they just had the most bitchy attitudes and manners I've ever seen in a pet store. Their puppies and birds are kept in such bad conditions, and try to hide the poop that's building up in the dog displays, which is obviously quite filthy. Seeing all these bad experiences, why is this place still open??????

It is the worst pet shop ever! They had 4 almost fully grown boxer puppy's in one rabbit cage... yes the tank was the size of a rabbit cage. They are cruel to animals and the cages are littered with grime. Please adopt don't shop.

As a former petstore employee (Little Farm) I can say that I have a very good eye and have educated insider knowledge of how a petstore is run. It is often the stuff that nightmares are made of. The good news is that the days of badly run independent and chain style American petstores are numbered. Today people are very much aware of animal abuse proper animal care and animal neglect. I commend you all who care enough to post an opinion on anything unjust that they see. I encourage everyone to report anything that they see. First to store staff then to the store manager and if need be to Animal Welfare. Sometimes what you are seeing may not be what you are seeing. Cage cleaning and feeding times vary. Animals do knock over food and water dishes. Staff may not even be aware of what an animal is doing or what it has done. Not all staff do as I did. I put extra toys bedding and houses I put extra food and water. I watched making sure everyone ate. I seperated by gender to avoid breeding. I watched for conflicts and injuries. I handtamed. I socialized. I did cage checks. I also became attached and cared who would buy the animal. I also educated potential owners. When your see something that's heartbreaking it's important to remember that the petstore is NOT A PERMANENT HOME. It is a showroom to display an item that is for sale. No matter how caring or how good the care of the staff/owners the animals cage will never be beyond basic standards or meet your standards. You will never get more than one wheel or one too small plastic house despite there being ten or more animals per small overcrowded cage. You will see plastic fronted cages. You will see animals fighting from stress and boredom. You will see empty eyes and sad looks. You will see animals that have aged out. They are not small and cute but older adults. That's the sad reality and truth of being in a cage for days or Months for hours on end. Being let out only if at all while your cage is being cleaned or the off chance to be shown to potential buyers. Petstores are a profit driven business just like any other. They are NOT non profit adoption centers. If you have the money you can buy. Even if they care who they sell to they really can't tell who they are selling to. Bottom line prepare your heart if you go into a petstore that has animals. Avoid the cages as I often now do and if you can get your pet food thru your vet or online or at PetValue or Wal Mart you may want to do so.

I regularly purchase fuzzy mice at this location for my pet corn snake. Most pet stores sell prepackaged mice of the same size, but the Little Critters in Billings Bridge mall receives their mice directly from a mouse breeder. When I went today to the store, they gave me extremely small sized fuzzy mice. I brought the mice that I had purchased there earlier to compare, and they were almost twice as big. When I showed the size difference to the owner and manager, they were unwilling to solve the issue for me. They suggested that I simply feed my snake twice the amount (which would cost twice as much), but refused to give me a discount, or extra mice to make up for the extremely small mice they gave me. The manager was not only unwilling to resolve my issue, but was also rude and unprofessional during my visit (condescending tone of voice, walking away during conversation and acting disengaged, cutting me off while speaking). I suggested that the store uses some sort of method to provide consistency for size of mice, and the manager simply scoffed at me.

My daughter loves dogs and wants me to get her a puppy. We visit this pet store when ever we are in Billings bridge mall. I find the owners disinterested and not helpful when asked questions about the dogs, they can never give any information on the name of breeder. I have bought a Betta fish from this pet store and it died after a few weeks. I will never buy any pets from this store.
