I have been shopping in this store for about five years now and have enjoyed every occasion. The staff go out of their way not only to educate you in the ways of birding but they also insist on carrying everything you buy to your car for you. They are always extremely friendly and knowledgeable also I can honestly say I have never felt pushed to buy anything whatsoever! Recently I brought in a anti-squirrel peanut dispenser I bought there years ago that had stopped working. Much to my surprise they took it apart, put in new parts and never charged me a cent. I think that is a testament to the kind of business and people they are.

I have never reviewed a business on-line before but felt the need to in this instance based on the previous review which seems drastic and unfair. I have been shopping Wild Birds Unlimited for YEARS. This is not a big-box store. This is a small store with caring, amazing staff serving our community for nearly 25 years. Have some decency. They have always provided great service to me, my family, and my friends, who ALL shop here. They offer quality products and not necessarily just bird related. The store is clean and well kept. My birds will not eat any other seed but WBU's. I for one will be spreading the word so that we can get this rating back up where it should be.

I love this store! They have the best bird seeds and everyone who works there is very nice. I hope I can get one of the bat houses one day!

To: Mr. Ron Jonik, You do not know me. How dare you use this forum to slander, defame, and bully me and harm the people who own and work where I do. I am neither incompetent, lazy, or rude. My parents did not raise me to be any of those things. You tasked me with sending your product to our Franchise Support Centre. I did exactly that, on my own time. I personally paid the postage. When the copy that was sent did not reach it's destination, I offered to return the original to you. That is exactly what I did. I presume that your extremely aggressive, personal, and hate-filled attack, in the guise of a business review, is meant to harm me personally and professionally. In addition, it is meant to harm the locally owned and operated business that is in it's 25th year, it's employees who rely on it to make a living, and it's owners who are good people and who support our community in ways that you cannot begin to imagine. Congratulations. The freedom of internet anonymity allows you that. The internet allows people like you to feel as though your opinion is important. I am fortunate enough to work in a place that I truly enjoy. I am excited to get to work each day. It is a rewarding, peaceful, and positive work environment. The customers who shop at our store are good people. They are caring and good to their birds. I believe that says a lot about them. I am very sorry that my attempt at a peaceful path through this world has intersected yours. To Our Customers - Past, Present, and Future: I regret having to use this forum to defend myself, but unfortunately there is no other way. Google Review does not provide a mechanism (other than to register a review as "inappropriate") for one to defend themselves when they have been attacked like I have by an individual who is not a customer at our store. I can assure you that we are a welcoming store that values each and every customer who enters. We offer a positive, happy environment. After all, we get to talk about birds each and every day. I, and the entire team here, look forward to helping you enjoy the birds that come to your backyard.
