Story

Hearthwood Dog and Cat Clinic has been part of the Vancouver community for over 35 years. Our three doctors and professional staff provide the highest level of veterinary care. We offer routine veterinary medicine and preventative care as well as digital x-ray, dental care, general surgery and therapeutic laser treatment.
We understand the special role your pet plays in your family and are dedicated to becoming your partner in your companions healthcare. Our goal is to practice the highest quality medicine and surgery with compassion. Our entire healthcare team is committed to providing personal attention to the individual concerns of each animal owner.

We have gone to Heartwood for over 20 years now with two different dogs. They are very professional and caring. All the staff and Veterinarians have always been very sweet and genuine. Near the end before our first dog passed away from old age, the doctors took their time examining her and gave us a lot of advice and different options. I never felt rushed or uninformed. We have also had a few emergency accidents in the past to which they were always able to get her in the same day, usually within an hour or two. I have recommended Heartwood to friends who have had negative experiences with other Veterinarian facilities.

Very compassionate and knowledgeable. Have used their services for years. Would never consider taking our animals anywhere else.

All of the staff at hearthwood Animal Clinic are very friendly and helpful and try their best to make not only the owners of their pets feel more comfortable, but the pets as well. I plan to take my pets here from now on and I recommend this veterinarian location to anyone who is looking for someplace to take their pet for check-ups, etc. Very awesome staff.

We have been taking our beagle boys to this clinic for the last 20 years. Over the years there have been changes in staff, but all personnel have been cheerful and helpful. Dr. Kopman is a favorite with our boys. You can tell when an animal has confidence in his care provider.  We love the fact that the clinic sends out reminders of upcoming appointments and of overdue shots.  With multiple animals, it is difficult to remember who needs what. The prices are fair, and let's face it, good healthcare is not cheap.  We highly recommend this clinic.
