Despite growing up in the area and having fond childhood memories of visiting here when it was a general store I have never eaten here.  We stopped in because we were in the neighborhood.  The space is cozy and the staff was friendly and attentive.  The menu is just the perfect size with plenty of options and I selected a very tasty burger that came on a pretzel bun.  It was very good.  Would definitely go back when I'm in town.

The atmosphere is quaint and inviting. Reservations are suggested for larger parties. The food was delicious from appetizers through dessert. My only complaint was that while service was adequate at the beginning of our meal it got progressively worse until our waitress disappeared for about 40 minutes! We had to wait even longer to pay our checks.

I have been to Hendel's on a couple occasions. On both occasions, I had impeccable service and great food. During the last trip, I had the bacon wrapped pork loin. Probably the best pork loin I have ever had. My wife and I shared the caramel cake for dessert. We now know why they won an award for it.

Well, there goes this morning's workout: what a great meal! All of the food was fresh, tasty, and well-portioned; prices were well in line with similar restaurants in the area. The deserts were to die for, and all of this came with friendly, timely service. Really enjoyed our dinner at Hendel's.

Hendel's is delicious. The food is very good and the price is reasonable. It is a very nice restaurant and the service was amazing even though it was pretty busy. This restaurant is a perfect place to eat on a warm day because they have great outdoor seating.
