My husband and I have been going to this restaurant almost since it opened. We always receive excellent service, the staff is very friendly and helpful. If a dish doesn't taste right, they will fix it in a jiffy. The dishes have changed over the years, but the flavors have always remained amazing. My husband would not eat vegetables that had been cooked before we started going to this place. It has been a food altering experience for him, exposing him to spicy cuisine as well as tasty ways to have cooked vegetables. The prices are completely reasonable to the proportions and they have an amazing beer and scotch selection to boot. The decor is understated and peaceful. The patio outside has lovely foliage, my only issue is that it butts up against Lindbergh so the traffic noise can be overwhelming. Overall my favorite restaurant in North county to this day.

The Pearl Cafe is so awesome. I've eaten lunch here on numerous occasions because of its proximity to my job. The service is wonderful. Things can get a little crammed inside the restaurant, but the food and friendly atmosphere completely make up for it. If it's warm enough, then there's always the option of eating outside, too. The Pearl Cafe may be my favorite, casual place to go for lunch in the entire area. My favorite meals are the chili & sriracha fried rice.

Ate here today. It is quickly becoming one of my favorite restaurants. I had the Green Bean Curry with Tofu and my husband ate the Pineapple Fried Rice with every meat under the sun. I like that both the meat-eater and the vegetarian can find plenty of healthy and hearty options here. Service was friendly and prompt.

The food is really really good! Casual atmosphere! Fresh healthy dishes packed with flavor and veggies. I love how many of the dishes can be made vegetarian. I always enjoy my dining experience!

Delicious food and good customer service. Only complaint was that the resultant itself was a bit cold. Maybe turn up the heat when its below 40 outside?
