website says they're open 1p-5p....when I drive down there at 1:15p they're closed...they need to get their act together

High prices, very small selection.

We used to use the Dakota County Library often but not any more.  In the past couple years their late fee policy has changed.  It is $.25 per item per day and they don't send any notice or have a grace period.  I had a stack of magazines out once and was off by 3 days on when they were due.  I owed $10 in late fees when I brought them in!  Yes, it was my fault but my late notice didn't arrive until days after I returned them so I would have owed way more if I waited for that.

If you use the library, be careful and keep good notes on when things are due or it can get expensive!
