Reserved a compact. Hoping to get an upgrade. They were sold out. The young man who checked me in was very polite, kind and professional. He asked his peer if there were any other cars available. His peer was a blond-hair guy who didn't even try to look and just said "nope". He then looked at me is if to say "It's your fault".  The guy who checked me in apologized and offered their number and said I was welcome to call them in a couple days to see if I could trade for the remainder of my reservation. Without knowing, I returned the car after hours on a Saturday. It was posted that I would be charged until Monday. I wasn't, and for that, I'm grateful. The pricing was fair. Although the car was smaller than I expected, it was spotless.

Miserable costumer service. Car was clean but upon returning it the manager proceeded to make a phone call on speaker phone during which he bad mouthed his employees calling them idiots. After that they gave me a ride to get my car but first had to go out of the way to drop of the same store manager before dropping off a paying costumer. Don’t waste your time here. Spend the extra $5 and rent at  Enterprise

Reservation was fine when we picked up. Dropping off on the other hand was not good. We're told several times it was no problem to drop off at the airport, did so and got charged twice. Called back to figure it out and guy was full  of attitude and didn't know how to do his job. Horrible customer service.

I rent here frequently. Cars are clean, staff is helpful. Limited hours when office is open, but you can drop off after hours.

We are gold members who reserved via service.-At Airport- When we arrived we were told there is no available car. Our reservation went to a local office. They were very good but the anxiety and unexpected change was terrible. We are Hertz Gold Members to avoid problems like these! What happened? Good by Hertz?
