I like the look and feel of this place. It definitely seems like a hole in the wall. While there is seating outside, the inside is small with only a few tables. Service was good, with the waiter being friendly and joking with us.

I had a cheeseburger, which was good. It wasn't the best burger I've ever had, but was definitely a step above typical fast food burgers. One of those dining with me had the ribs and okra. He said it was the best okra he had had in years. As for the ribs, he clearly loved those, as we waited for quite some time after everyone else had finished so he could pick them clean. I'd definitely return.

My only complaint is that the restroom was tiny, but realistically, you can't expect a roomy restroom is such a small place. Maybe if they could have one uni-sex restroom instead of separate ones it would help to alleviate that problem.

We’ve been coming to the Hickory pit for years. We travel 700 miles and this is our first stop every time. I’ve recommended this place to many friends and they have loved it as well. The service is great, people are friendly and help with order by suggesting amounts. Prices are fair and food delicious. A must if passing through on 75 or staying in or around Chattanooga.

Homemade funnel cakes! Delicious! Stuffed pork potato is to die for. Fried okra and pickles were awesome. Intimate setting, very interesting place. Definitely will be going back. Hard to see from road, but right off Ringgold Rd.

Amazing little place! We stopped on our way through the country and it was the best place we ate at! As soon as we entered we were politely greeted by the super friendly staff and seated ourselves. The food came relatively quickly and was all fresh and hot. Definitely recommend the Dino Bites and the Banana Pudding. All of the meat was cooked perfectly and fell right off the bone. Our waiter took great care of us and it seems that lots of people agree that this place is great because the drive-thru was constant and quick. An awesome little place! 👍

The food is great. You won't fndf any better for a 100 Miles. If you like BBQ this is the place to be
