We are a family owned and operated cafe featuring gourmet coffees, teas and smoothies. We offer fresh food at reasonable prices.

Story

Always on the look out for good coffee, we decided to open a place where there is always good coffee, a warm atmosphere and a place to talk about good.

Our initial offerings will consist of select coffees and teas, smoothies, gourmet soups, salads, sandwich and eclectic breakfast fare.

My cousin had his engagement party/brunch here and the food was DELICIOUS. Looks can truly be deceiving, when I first walked in I thought “This place looks like it needs serious renovating, I hope their food is good”. It definitely was! I had the shrimp and grits, I only ordered it because it looked delicious. Lol I’m not a huge fan of grits, especially salty grits (sugar only for me) but I was a fan that day. I wish I could’ve had more meat and stuff on the top though, seemed like I had A LOT of grits and not enough of everything else. Service was great and everything was just great, will be visiting again. ❤️

Such a charming place to eat breakfast or dinner. The food was Delicious! Catfish was amazing. A little heavy handed with the sauce so I got mine on the side and added the amount I wanted. Can't go wrong here though and our waitress was pleasant & attentive 😊

I've been to this place 4 times now, and I can confidently say that this place is amazing. Every single waiter and waitress I've had has been wonderful. Every single plate that was served has been excellent. As soon as you step inside this place it is very welcoming. It's a home like atmosphere. The prices are really good, and serving sizes are perfect. All of the beverages are great. From the standard soda to all the specialty drinks like fresh lemonade, chai tea latte, mocha frappé, fruit smoothies, and many more. This place deserves nothing less than 5 stars.

Went there with the girls to celebrate. The name is so very appropriate for the location. Very pleasant, roomy and felt like grandma's. The food was wonderful. Couldn't belive there was no wait on a late Saturday morning. Staff was good, although our waitress seemed to be new. Looking forward to many returns.

I really wanted to love this place since I frequent the area. I hoped this would be go to place for not living closer to Pappadeaux but I was sadly mistaken. The customer service here is awesome from the greeter to the server and that's why I gave it three stars because cuisine wise it was a total let down. 
My wife and I both ordered the chicken and rice soup. I don't know what we received but there was nothing soupy about it. It was thicker than oatmeal I'm talking oatmeal left in the pot for a couple hours thick. 
For our main dish she ordered shrimp and grits I'm not sure what came out but it wasn't shrimp and grits or anything close to the authentic recipe. I ordered blackened salmon with spinach and potatoes my salmon was actually decent but the spinach had no flavor what so ever. Dessert I ordered cheesecake with strawberries what I received was something you'd get at a casino dessert buffet you know the little circle cake with strawberry jelly on it. I also noticed that the other patrons didn't finish the meals either which tells me they weren't completely satisfied with their orders either. Again it's a cozy place with a wonderful staff but chef needs to be replaced.
