Been a loyal customer to Kenny’s since his Hazel Crest store in the 90’s.
Our last TWO visits to the Matteson location had ended that loyalty.
The rib tips on the first visit were ALL burnt pieces. Not just a few, ALL.
We gave them a second chance, but.......
the second trip, there was so much seasoning salt on the ribs that is was almost ubearable to eat. 
We make better at home and for less $$.
Kenny’s just isn’t worth it anymore.

Tasty... but Way too expensive for the portions that you get! && the first time I went they didn't even give me fries with my ribs. This time I paid $9 for a mini tip and there was almost nothing in it.... I went back to ask the lady if that was the right amount of ribs and she said yes, so I probably won't be going back!!

Food is great. Service was fast. The area around it is very empty but good soul food.

Have you lost your minds?  lol  I have eaten at Kenny's forever.  The bar-b-que is decent and it is close by.  Why did they increase their prices by about 40%-50%.  Not a $2 increase here and there but a significant increase...for the same food!  I can't do it.  I will hit Dusties once and a while for overpriced soul food but I am not going to be able to support this one.  Good luck!  I think there is a minority owned bar b que joint in Homewood...going to give them a try!
