This is a beautiful hotel with large spacious rooms and beautiful decorations. The staff is very friendly and helpful. I've lived my stays here. The hotel restaurant (Spencer's) had amazing food and great service. The hotel is convenient to convention centers, shopping, and dining in the downtown area. I highly recommend this hotel when staying in Salt Lake.

The lobby is exquisite. Rooms are a bit compact but comfortable. The staff was exceptionally friendly. One minor complaint - in my family's room the furnace was extremely loud - enough to rattle the floor every hour. Definitely not restful. Great location though.

Stayed here for a convention. Pool, hot tub, buffet breakfast at the hotel restaurant or room service is available. Parking is available for $18/day. Good location downtown. Rooms are comfortable, quiet and accomodating for a room with a view. Staff was courteous. Room quality not quite up to a Hilton standard. Good, but not great, no frills. Basic needs met, but not impressed.

I was really disappointed with this hotel. I always thought Hilton meant luxury. I stayed here this week for a work convention. My room was small. I asked for Hypoallergenic bedding, because I'm allergic to feathers. They gave me a thin blanket and a crappy pillow because all their bedding is down bedding. I asked for another blanket, and they brought me more down pillows that I couldn't use. The housekeepers put all my bedding for 3 days on the chair in my room instead of removing it. There was a huge crack in the ceiling that looked like it had been covered by joint compound multiple times. The lamps in the room kept shorting out. The bathroom was dirty and had hairs in the sink and tub. The drain for the tub was really slow. The grout in the tile was chipped and cracked. They wanted to charge me $15/day for a continental breakfast, and $10 more to add bacon, sausage, and eggs. Some of my co-workers stayed at the Holiday Inn, and it was far better than my room, and they got a free continental breakfast.

Lobby and staff are fantastic. Rooms are nothing to wrote home about. You can see the wear and tear of the years on the furniture. Pillows were hard and flat. Bed was normal. Great location right downtown
