Wish I could have not given any stars, but I wanted to get this out there. 
Do not go to this place if you want to try something new and go short! 
Seeing other people's reviews about that (even on Google reviews) they didn't get what they wanted! Just like me! 

This Worst decision I have ever made! 
I asked for a long A-line, and got a VERY Short Bob... !!
I've been growing out my hair for so long, because I love having long hair. But my Husband LOVES short hair. 
The only reason I decided to cut it today, is because I thought it would be a good surprise for my husband as a valentine's gift. 
I almost cried in the chair, and I still feel like crying. I hate how looks on me!

I just moved to West Jordan from California and it's always scary and risky to search for a new hair stylist. I am grateful to have found this awesome lady Jannelle at Hip Salon at Jordan Landing! She's the salon owner and she dyed my hair, lifted my ombré, and gave me a haircut for a VERY affordable price!! I was happy she gave me exactly what I asked her for. She had some questionable reviews here on Google but I'm glad I went anyways because I found out for myself that she is in fact amazing. I will definitely be returning to her for as long as I live here.

I went there and as soon as I walked in I knew it would be bad the girl who did my hair did not keep good care of her own and was not good at communicating. I wanted my hair bleached but she died it yellow. I looked like I had a lemon on my head! The whole time my eyes and nose were stinging with the overwhelming smell of bleach. She toned it and there was a straight line by the roots where she died it the top was brown and bottom was light blonde. As soon as I got outside I started crying DO NOT GO TO HIP SALON!!!!!

I came here get hair cut even brought sample pic, ask to cut similar style not too short, at the end my hair look like onion head completely saved on side and back just a few hair left on top, this is the different between barber and hair stylist, hair stylist can cut exact or almost the same, barber just zooom zoom done totally shaved off hair lol.

Janelle is friendly and easy to talk to. She'll work hard to get you the look you want. I've been here 3 times and really have nothing but good things to say. Prices are good.
