So much to love about this farm - my kids love visiting the animals and tromping around the farm in the fresh air. The kids enjoy the hands-on exhibits in the visitor center as well. There are picnic tables throughout so pack some lunch and make an afternoon out of it - cap off the visit with some fresh ice cream made at the farm with their own milk. Did I mention that it is FREE and just a few minutes from the highway?

Love this place! Farm animals on postures include horses, cows, pigs, goats, chickens. There is a museum section with real antique store, horse buggy and more. Puzzles, games, educational displays, indoor silo with stairs to second level, small shop and restrooms. Outdoors are tractors and farm equipment. They farm vegetables too and you can buy produce at their farmer's market on June through October. See their website for activities too. Park for free across the street.

Great place to visit with young kids. An educative place for kids with less attention span. I will visit again when the weather warms up.

Don't lie to your children - My parents brought me to a place like this when I was little. I'll admit, I had fun. But they told me the animals were happy and healthy and we didn't talk about that they'd be murdered. But then I got older and witnessed the industrial commercial farms needed to support all of the people that eat meat. The animals are sexually assaulted to reproduce, they are treated horribly and in inhumane conditions. Dairy cows forced to reproduce over and over until they die. I was lied to. I won't ever forget that trip. Visit a farmed animal sanctuary instead.

Awesome small farm to check out and relax. Free entry and they have picnic tables if you bring some food to snack on. Very friendly and they have free parking across the street.
