AMAZING cakes!! I would highly recommend their Princess Torte cake.. it's gorgeous, looks elegant and tastes wonderful! Our guests loved it! Ours was made to order, the staff is very courteous, the cake was ready in time, it's all very seamless. It's our place to go to for a cake for every occasion in the family.

Really nothing special - maybe their cakes and larger items are the real focus, but as a pastry shop I want impressed.

Update: I did give their cakes a try with the Princess Torte, and that was superb.  Up to 4 stars for the cakes, but still can't recommend the smaller items.

Their pastries are great! Princess torte is outstanding. Decor in new Redmond store is lacking. It's all dark and spare. Not cheery like the old Kirkland store. I think the interior designer is the same as the one that did the recent Azteca restaurants...dark and lack luster. Coffee is great too.

Princess Torte Cake is the best ever!!!  We ordered this for our wedding reception... and every crumb was eaten.   My son works in the wedding industry and said it was BY FAR the best marzipan he'd ever tasted.    Thanks for making our wedding day special.. Cyndy

I have never had a pastry or cake as good as Hoffman's. Great place for coffee or brunch too
