It has now been almost 3 hours since I was locked out of my room due to the Hotel’s computer system (I did not lock myself out via not having a room key or any other means) and all I have received is a smaller room than my original, and ZERO apologies or help. I have work I still need to get done and there is nothing being done. The maintenance guy is trying to reset the room... why isn’t there a mechanical or otherwise ability to reset the door by hand??? I have NEVER had this kind of horrible service. My advice is to stay far far away from this hotel! I am going to give a fair update. The hotel manager did compensate me with points/travel nights for the inconvenience. However, the week of business was pretty much a waste after that because I missed customer meetings and deadlines due to not having my equipment and computer. Also, the manager said they would comp my room at a different hotel downtown, and yet I still received an invoice for my stay at the Crown Plaza downtown. I called the customer service rep and she had no notes about the agreement so I had to pay. Still reviewing this hotel as a 2 star. Hopefully they figure their stuff out... Also, the "updates" that were done were half-assed at best. See picture for example.

I cannot stress this enough, DO NOT STAY HERE! It is now going on 12 hours I have not had access to my room! They are telling me it is because the GM of the hotel is not in yet and he/she is the only one with access to reset the rooms. What kind of GM worth ANYTHING gets into work past 7am?? I’ll tell you what kind, the kind that really doesn’t care about their customers or their jobs. I will NEVER stay at this hotel ever again. I will also tell you that the whole hotel is still under construction, and the rooms while “updated” are still trashier than any other Holiday Inn I’ve stayed in over the past several years. And let me tell you, I’ve stayed in +\-50 this year alone. Take your business elsewhere.

Freshly made breakfast right in front of your face. Oh my goodness wonderfulness. The room was old style with modern day readiness.

The front desk staff is top notch. The hotel is sub par. They are in the process of doing a complete remodel. Which means the halls and public space are a mess with sheetrock dust and cluttered with tool boxes. Forget about sleeping in because they start working at 8 AM. The rooms really, really, really need the facelift. They will most likely be nice when the remodel is done, but they are still going to be small. They should have closed during the remodel.

Good furnishings, excellent rate, clean room, very comfortable bed, but no complementary breakfast and a broken shower handle, made for a 4 star review.
