Worst experience here, will never book with a holiday inn. I was traveling from LA to Oregon, got to Belmont and decided to get a room. My funds weren't on my card until the morning, so a friend booked it online with their credit card, called and made sure that it was okay that I didn't have the card on me and asked if there any fees involved. The desk agent told her no. I get there at midnight, grab my overnight bag and go to check in. I get to the front desk and give them my I.D and a debit card. Then he tells me it doesn't go through, so I told him I know, the room is prepaid. He says that there is an extra $25 incidental charge that the person checking in has to physically swipe a card in order to book a room. I ask him why he didn't tell me friend that over the phone when she called and he said it must have been miscommunication. So I ask if I can pay it in cash. He says no. I ask if there's a wells Fargo around where I can go deposit cash into my card and he tells me where one is, but tells me he already took my name off the booking and he has no more rooms so it would be pointless. All within 20 minutes. I have never had any problems like this before. I'm not sure if this is just a holiday inn policy or just in Belmont, but I will be telling everyone I know NEVER to stay at a holiday inn.

Breakfast was good. Walk in shower. Unfortunately, the bathroom smelt like cleaning product. I'm not sure whether that is a good or bad thing. There was dirt caked on to the bottom of my bed decorative sheet (near the floor). Air conditioning was really spotty and woke me up throughout the night. Friendly staff. Free water in the mini fridge was a plus. Lots of space in the room, for the area.

Friendliest hotel. Amazing staff and great location. Really feels like home away from home. Great stay!

Nice hotel with clean rooms and friendly staff. Convenient location. Breakfast is just OK, but it's consistent with what you would expect from a holiday inn express. Overall a solid hotel for business purposes.

Lunch is consistent. Rooms are comfy. AC works great. Parking is ample. Did not see an EV charging option
