Stayed over Christmas here for a few nights. This was a nice hotel, I will stay again. The hot breakfast has a nice variety of choices and really good pancakes/coffee! The rooms are nice, beds and pillows are comfy. The blankets were to well insulated, we got hot quickly. Didn’t have time for the pool, wish they had a hot tub. The staff was really helpful and friendly !!

One of the best hotels I have stayed in Libertyville. The service was outstanding. Everyone was very helpful and would go out of there way to help you. I would give them 6 stars.

We have 2 rooms for my son's Navy graduation. They are nice but disappointed they don't have refrigerators or microwaves. It's clean and the staff is nice. I reserved the rooms online but was told after we got here we couldn't get the "Graduation Rate" because we didn't call directly. Apparently using their own website is considered a 3rd party planner! It's close to the base and food.

I could not have selected a better hotel in the area. Absolutely perfect for parents of graduating navy boot camp recruits. The room was very nice, hot breakfast option started each day off wonderful. Staff courteous and helpful.

I have stayed there twice, both for Navy Bootcamp Graduations. The first time several years ago I remember the room being very clean, but we had little water pressure in both the shower and the toilet, and the toilet completely stopped working altogether. (not clogged, just didnt work). I was staying with my daughter's friend who came to support her. They could not fix it, and we had to use the lobby restroom as there were no other rooms available. They weren't overly apologetic and acted a little dismayed we had voiced a complaint. This year, it seemed upgraded, even more clean and although super busy, they seemed to manage the large crowds well. They accommodated our last minute need to stay an extra night. It is a very noisy hotel, as in, I have stayed in hotels where you don't really hear too many other people or things going on. The first night was crazy. We almost wanted to switch hotels. I just remembered the worst is the door slamming - if you go to YELP you will see people mention the door slamming. You will hear them yelling and slam! It's so BIZARRE. The second night again started out very noisy (it's not the staff, there were some bizarre people there and for a while a loud small dog was barking super loud but not sure what happened. I didnt complain about it and it stopped) but suddenly quieted down and was not too bad. The third night, was great and the best night of the three nights. Again, very clean, and they are very nice and have to deal with a lot of people. The breakfast is the usual express stay type but they were running out however people were patient and they refilled. The rest of the family stayed at the Hampton Inn further down the street and we saw their rooms and stopped in a few times and although maybe another 7 minutes from the Naval Recruit Training, I would start there as first choice, this Holiday Inn as second choice.
