I don't know if the hotel is good or not only that they have a low rating. since I was not able to book a room. Their website says "Pet Friendly" but they do not specify which hotels are. Not all of their hotels accept family pets. Some only accept service animals. Basically before making a reservation they make you call the hotel first to check with their pet policy and then make the decision to reserve or not. The website would be user friendly if they included this information.

Let me tell you why i'm giving this place 5 stars even though it is not a five star hotel. First off, the front desk person who served us in the dead of night when we couldn't find any other hotel that wasn't priced double was ms. Paulette, i believe. i asked before i left but the person wasn't sure. she was one of the most amazing front desk people to ever serve me. better than a 5 star hotel attendant. after we arrived to our rooms, they were clean rooms. although the rooms weren't perfect, they were well maintained and clean. For the price, we got a fridge, a microwave, a corner kitchen w/stove and cabinets with a small table and a flat screen on the wall. we stood here one day but you could stay here a week if you'd like.. it would be no problems. the only con i can think about this hotel, is that because it's so affordable, you'll have loud neighbors at certain parts of the day, who aren't as well mannered as the front desk.  even then though, it's not the hotels fault. i enjoyed my stay here a lot. it's a very very simple place with good rooms.

I’D GIVE THIS PLACE ZERO STARS IF I COULD! We tried to check in early and unfortunately no rooms were available at the time. Later that day I received a call saying our room we booked 2 weeks ago was no longer available. They gave it to “part of a large group” (their exact words).  After driving 12 hours to get here, this is unacceptable and poor customer service. When asked if they could give me a two bedroom since they booked my one bedroom and it apparently was the last one, they said NO. I Asked for the manager to call me to at least apologize, never called. Do not book here!! GO TO RED ROOF INN LIKE I DID (great place)

I recently was discharged from the hospital and I needed to stay in the area because all my Doctors and Hospital are nearby. I searched for an affordable place that was clean and in good shape. Wow, was I surprised by the Crossland, it is like a book with rough cover but contents were outstanding. No odors, no bugs, just a wonderful clean and comfortable room. Wood floors and full size refrigerator and roomy. This place was the best priced in the area and near Walmart . I really lucked out in finding this place, a diamond in the rough. What makes it even better is the staff who all are professional, friendly and compassionate, led by the Mgr. Brian who couldn't be more understanding. I would recommend this place to anyone who wants to save money yet live in a clean comfortable place. One less worry for me. Thanks Crossland.

Crosslands is a straight forward no frills pick. The rooms are tiny and well worn but well designed for maximum amount of comfort. The floors stay looking dirty because of the salt but every room is equipped with a two burner stove and apt size fridge. The stove takes FOREVER to warm up. There is some renovations being done and train tracks and highway next door so be prepared for loud noise. All in all if you need a long term week or two solution this is an okay choice 4 out of 5 stars due to the kitchenette and low price.
