New hotel Nov 17- just opened last week. Simmons beautyrest was the bomb- excellent night of sleep. Modernized look and convenient location to visit Manhattan. Staff very friendly and helpful. Oh, and good bacon (not nuked) Spire status post

Brand new hotel. Superb bed and pillows. Modern and clean! Fitness center is a step up from typical. Plenty of cardio machines each with own tv as well as high quality free weights and room for stretching. Staff are very friendly.

The Holiday Inn Express & Suites in Parsippany is overall an excellent hotel. I've stayed there numerous times for personal and business purposes. The general manager, Michael, is approachable, kind and does everything possible to meet the customers needs. The staff at the front desk goes out of their way to accommodate you with a smooth quick check in and they offer rapid check out. HOUSEKEEPING is outstanding, especially my favorite "Betty". She is absolutely wonderful and does thorough job cleaning, providing amenities when requested. The hotel offers a delicious breakfast 7 days per week offering an array of food for every palate and appetite. Michelle, who is frequently in the restaurant during BREAKFAST is a sweetheart! She always greets you with a welcoming smile. Michelle deserves a raise as she is a hard worker. ON the other hand Sandra, whom is the breakfast supervisor, presents as a stone-faced, never offers a smile, appears as if she has no people skills, and looms over customers as if to rush them out of the restaurant. The restaurant CUBA MIA; which, is located in the hotel is phenomenal. The CHEF Serafin offers a great array of Cuban and Latin foods, drinks, sangria and a fully stocked bar with the best Latin music. THE absolute best server at CUBA MIA IS CHRIS! He is professional, pleasant, courtesy, has a wonderful personality and is very familiar with the dishes on te menu and can easily make an excellent recommendation if you're unsure or overwhelmed by the wide variety of dishes offered. IF I could give this Holiday Inn 10 Stars I would!!

Great rooms & breakfast (hot and cold), but wi-Fi is shaky and no close options for lunch or dinner
