It is a nice hotel, rooms clean, the service was good and the location was convenient. I do have two negative comments though. First, while the location was convenient. My wife was having surgery at AGH and we had to be up by 4:00 AM to be at the hospital. We were near the freeway and found it hard to sleep with all the noise from outside. If we have to make another trip like this, I will definitely look for a quieter location. Secondly, the parking garage next door which is not owned and operated by the hotel is much cheaper than hotel parking (by half).

First time visiting Pittsburgh and it was a great experience all thanks to the staff at the Holiday Inn Express! They were extremely friendly, attentive and willing to assist you in anyway possible. The smallest gestures truly show how much they enjoy working there. Happy Employees = Satisfied Customers! We are definitely satisfied customers! The Hotel offers free breakfast, perfect to start your day! The dining area was clean and spacious, full of natural light and a great view of the street. The lounge area/lobby is also very trendy and spacious. The shuttle service is great! We took advantage of the shuttle service as they provided their number to call them at any time we needed to get picked up or dropped off. They are always making sure you know they are available. The room was great! The view in our room was breathtaking! We slept with our blinds open just to enjoy the view! Housekeeping was attentive and friendly. Whenever we stepped out, the housekeeper greeted us with a smile and asked if we needed anything. The one thing that went wrong was that the bath tub was backed up and the water would take a while to go down the drain. That is a pretty big deal but as soon as we mentioned it they took care of it. Honestly when you have such a great experience during your vacation, a backed up shower is not a big deal at all!!!! We can not say ENOUGH about our stay at this Holiday Inn Express! We really felt like we were at home. Thank you Natalia and staff we will see you again!

Nice staff, nice rooms, decent price. Nothing to complain about. Enjoyed my stay, will use this hotel again, it's where all my coworkers and I stay when in the burgh.

My husband and I were staying overnight for a wedding at PNC Park, just across the street. The staff was friendly and able to accommodate an early check-in. The room was clean and had a mini fridge and coffee maker. It was a great location not just for the stadium, but for bars and restaurants and convenient access from the highways. Being so close to the highway though, there was a bit of vehicle noise, but not as disruptive as hotels near airports. The complimentary breakfast included hot options, and was plentiful even with many wedding guests the morning after. Parking was very convenient, although it seemed a bit expensive at $23/night.

Parking is a little pricey, but it's a great location - very clean and well-kept with friendly staff.
