Very friendly staff, but the rest needs improvement. Indoor pool lacks heat for the water, the bathrooms in room need maintain warm (doorknob tobaghroom would not lock and shower was poorly repaired) breakfast was not free as I read in advertising, they had a dog in the restaurant area that was clearly not a service dog. Would not stay here again sad to say since the staff was so nice

Clean and modern. Probably the best hotel in this town.  I have stayed here a few times when visiting and Will stay again.

Breakfast isn't free!!!!! This is why I'm giving it a 3-star rating. Everything else? It's like a palace. I just can't get over the $7.99 breakfast buffet. oh, and you'd like a glass of orange juice? That's an additional $2.25 for a highball glass of orange juice. Bringing breakfast up north of $11. Multiply that across the course of five days staying in this hotel to work out of town, and you are now after tip somewhere in the range of $60 you spent that week on breakfast alone. Talk about making the first meal of the day cost-prohibitive.

Restaurant and bar are good. Rooms are comfortable but could use some minor upgrades to put them on par with other holiday inns. Staff was extremely helpful.

My family and I stayed at the Holiday Inn Meridian after a long drive from Houston. The location was conveniently located on our route. The staff made us feel right at home. We loved the fact that there was a small quaint Restaurant and Bar in the lobby. After our long drive we needed a cocktail and some relaxation. We loved our stay there and highly recommend them.
