This was an excellent local meat lovers restaurant. The meat was great and the sauces had unique flavors and personalities! The interior was fun and the staff were very nice to our family and younger kids. The sauces are self served in tiny cups. After filling up all the flavors it was difficult to remember what flavor was what. It would be nice to have a sample stack of flavors that you could take to your table. So you can see what flavor is what. Plus I felt bad for filling the flavors up and not eating all the sauce since we only ended up going back a few times to fill up 2-3 flavors. Also the store decor is fun but the actual place you order is not as fun and looks out of place and looked run down compared to the rest. It should be updated and less cluttered and squished. The overall experience was fantastic and we will be back. Plus the place was fairly busy so it would seem the restaurant was consistently producing good food. It was a Thursday afternoon.

Loved our visit to Holy Smokes! The brisket was moist and delicious. The pulled chicken was great also. I love the sauce bar where you can choose from lots of different sauces for your food. Fried okra was top notch. Restaurant was clean, staff was friendly and good was awesome. Definitely worth the stop.

The ribs here were wonderful. They fell off the bone and tasted great.I tried the sweet BBQ sauce and loved it. The original wasn't bad either. The rolls were soft and tasty however I would have preferred mine to be warm instead of cold. The potato salad was good, not the best I've had but definitely not the worst either. I was able to eat it after adding a little bit of salt. I will say that I am picky about my potato salad so if I eat it it's good.

This restaurant is one of the best I’ve ever been to! Meats are succulent and tender with spectacular flavour and perfectly smoked. Sides are delicious and go perfectly with the meats. Prices are super reasonable (you’re basically losing money if you DON’T go here) and the owners are such amazing people. Awesome restaurant with an awesome atmosphere.

I had the Friday Special. It was tasty but not the best burnt ends, I’ve ever had. But overall it had a good smoke flavor, however it lacked that meat flavor. I had a question about the sides included with the meal and she acted annoyed and was short with me. I had only been here once before many years ago because I felt the chopped brisket was lacking. My food was better today, but the customer service is in need of some training. I’m not sure that I’ll be back.
