Food was good, but they did not have enough people working on orders. Only 2 people and the were not friendly and didn't want to listen to all of your order before doing something else or ignoring you. Just wanted lunch with my son.

I used to love Cafe Rio, but it keeps getting more and more disappointing each time I visit. Last time I ate there I placed a to go order that was supposed to be ready at 8. I didn't get it until after 9. This time I ordered grilled chicken with my Tostada. I'm weird about reheated meat, I don't like the taste of it and I HATE reheated chicken. I hate the taste of it. I took one bite of the chicken and spit it out because I could tell it had been reheated. And the last few times I've eaten there the lettuce is always wilted and brown on the edges. I loved Cafe Rio because it always tasted fresh.

The sweet pork burrito is great. Encalata style. Try it. Do it. Taste it. Love it. Devour it. I'm bad at spelling.

Love this place. Tostadas are the best. Food is always great and prepared as ordered. The dining area can sometimes be cleaned better, but always stocked well.

*UPDATE* ...and to add to the painful experience, something about their burrito changed and my dog had to finish it. Very sad. Today was the most dreadful experience I've ever had at Cafe Rio-- or any food joint I've ever gone to. I sat in line for 25-minutes behind only a dozen people. When I finally got to the cashier, she turned to some customers in a different line who apparently ordered online. Thus I had to wait another 5-minutes. Nobody should ever have to wait 30-minutes for a burrito that costs $10 (I could also rant over their price increase)! It's a sad sad day... it's time to change allegiance to Costa Vida. I hope management reads this and works to fix the problem.
