Friendly staff and great deals...only downside is if there is a decent amount of people shopping the store is really congested

This is my go to store for MANY things, the staff is friendly , helpful & always willing to lend a hand, considering the bs they put up with ( unruly customers opening bedding, throwing rugs on the floor, list goes on ) I even get hugs from staff members that I know well, Joanne B, Naomi ,Anna , Stephanie, Haywood, Jared,Debbie, Brad Bevin are all awesome attentive and friendly beyond words !!!! Love this HomeGoods !!!!!

I generally love Home Goods stores. This particular location on John R and 14Mile stands out from the rest in a bad way. One time I purchased a glass jar of coconut oil. The cashier, Debbie M, refused to double bag it and it broke as it was too heavy for s single bag. My most recent visit I purchased a non stick ceramic coated frying pan. Same cashier, Debbie M, refused to wrap it in a tissue. She just put the frying pan in a single bag. The handle of the frying pan was sticking out of the bag as I carried it. Debbie M was very rude and identified herself as a manager. I called customer service and they were nice and apologized. They told me that Debbie is not the manager and that the actual manager is Bradley. They told me they going to let Bradley know and that he'll get back to me. Well, he never did and in the meantime I got yelled at by "the manager' and brought home merchandise that got damaged as it was not properly packaged. I love Home Goods in general, but would avoid this particular location due to it's rude, horrible customer service.
