I've been a loyal shopper since the Troy store opened (even down to my last pair of eyeglasses). I'm currently unemployed but want to help those that are less fortunate so I've volunteered to shop for holiday gifts for needy children. To maximize the funds, I went out on Black Friday to take advantage of the sales because it doesn't go far. Unfortunately, I picked up a wrong size on a pair of sweatpants. When I tried to do an exchange for a larger size with the receipt, I was told it was no longer an even exchange since pricing has changed and they would NOT honor the Black Friday price. I know with retail fraud on the rise, it's better to exchange with a receipt. The question is: If I had asked for an exchange for a larger size WITHOUT the receipt, would they have done it & honored the price? Probably. I will NO longer shop at Wal-Mart due to the change in their return policy. It's a shame the retailer is willing to alienate a loyal shopper for a lousy $2 by not honoring their Black Friday pricing on an exchange for a purchase made only 3 days ago. It's the principle of the matter. Remember, the clothing was purchased for the needy!!!

It's Walmart. Like, it's fine. It's the same as every other Walmart in the country. It's not a destination that needs reviewing. No one makes an event out of going to Walmart. It's never exciting. Every conversation that leads to people going there begins with, "do you want to get the thing from Walmart?" And ends with, "I guess. I don't care. Whatever." I mean, it's no Target.

Poor SAM WALTON is Spinning In His Grave. First EVERYTHING IS MADE IN CHINA, and now a TOTAL EROSION OF CUSTOMER SERVICE. Sam Walton Valued both THE AMERICAN WORKER & CONSUMER, consideration to both was ALWAYS A PRIORITY of his, and the ONCE GREAT COMPANY that he built. There is NEVER a Walmart Associate hardly ever to be seen when or if you NEED HELP. A person would think they're all at the front of the store running a Check Out Lane. NOPE, hardly ever a Check Out Lane open. Only way out of the store is SELF CHECK OUT. Whatever happened to CUSTOMER SERVICE?

Nice clean store, was trying to print some pics. off my phone all the kiosk were taken, but what do you expect 2 days before Christmas. No biggie. Managed to find more things to buy while in there.

I even saw Rasheed Wallace here one night. It was very late and the store was pretty empty. It is a non-story. Incredibly boring. Have fun at Wal-Mart peeps!
