Hometown Buffet in Turlock serves one of the best Breakfasts in town for a reasonable price. Made-to-order Omelettes, freshly carved ham and polish sausage, chicken fried steak with country gravy, and so many potato varieties. 
Waffles with fruit topping and whipped cream, and so many salad choices I can't list them all. 
The Wait-staff are attentive and helpful. Can't wait to go back.

We had a great lunch today! 😊 great food & customer service was excellent @ this restaurant. Our server - customer service Allen is always pleasant & so helpful. Makes our visit always 💯 % postive.  We enjoyed every minute - thank you.

I enjoyed this place and miss Hometown buffet.  We don't have a Hometown Buffet in Sacramento anymore.  Meat was good, great salad.  My guy eats meat I vegan and there where many options for both of us.  I will go there again when I'm in town. The place was clean, service was  good and nice inviorment.

I always think they should be better than what I experience. Went during lunch so the menu wasn't as good. But a reasonable price for all you can eat regardless. The food was adequate. But nothing special. If you're hungry and eat a lot...maybe not a bad choice. It worked for me on that basis.

Clean, didn't smell bad. But the food wasn't replinshed as it ran out. We waited our whole meal for more bread rolls to be brought out. They never came out. The desserts we're pretty empty too. Salad bar, meat carving station and everything else was good.
