Plainfield's Affordable, State of the Art Fitness Center - Located near downtown Plainfield, Hometown Fitness offers underground parking and is located just south of Renwick off Route 59 behind Hardees restaurant.

Fabulous gym with just the stuff that you will need. They have a good collection of cardio machines including bikes, treadmill, ellipticals, stair masters and my favorite, summit climber. Also included are a cross fit area with TRX, punching bags and a studio for various team workouts. Super friendly staff and knowledgeable trainers and very nice patrons who don’t throw their ‘weights’ around, quite literally!!
absolutely love this gym… this place has everything you need! 24/7. Great for body-building with lots of room and equipment. I especially love the CrossFit room, which has lots of bags—making this an excellent gym for those who are into boxing and/or MMA . Classes are fantastic as well; the trainers are all super personable, patient and helpful. I’ve made so much progress since I’ve started going here and believe I will continue to as long as I go here :
My workout journey started about 10 years ago with CrossFit. I was certain that was the gym for me. I learned how to use a barbell and the rig. Sure I lost some weight and gained some muscle. But quickly I plateaued even with my nutrition on point. When Covid hit, gyms we’re closed down and I also unfortunately lost my job as I was in live events. So, I had to find something less expensive. Oh how I looked at those machines in utter disgust ‍ After all, I was a Crossfitter. 3 years forward you won’t be able to get me off the machines ‍ I’ve gone from doing a WOD for one hour a day with multiple breaks to lifting my heaviest, taking HIIT Classes and looking my best at 50+ years old! I’ve never been more supported and understood by this coaching staff to get me out of my own way to show me what I’m truly capable of. In the darkness of Covid I found the light. Life gives you circumstances which sometimes seem impossible only to be your greatest gift. Thank you Fitness Premiere!
Really nice for bodybuilders and staff very friendly. Just wish they would update some equipment and ropes. This place is ten times better than Planet Fitness!
Trainers and staff are amazing. The facility is clean and welcoming and let me just mention the smoothies….yes! Highly recommend and I tell everyone to check it out. You won’t be disappointed!
Fitness Premier Plainfield is a chill gym. Everyone is friendly but serious about working out. Membership is reasonably priced. Highly recommended!
I love this gym and the staff! I'm newer to the area, called just about all local gyms. Was shocked how many took days to call me back or never called me back regarding personal training sessions. Mary at Hometown called me within hours, she's amazing and one of the most inspiring woman I've ever met! And now working with personal trainers Lindsay and Bryan, they're fantastic, really know their stuff and fun too! major bonus especially when I don't want to be there at 5am. I highly recommend them!
This is an amazing gym. Love the friendly vibe here too. The owner, Mary, has tremendous customer service. And she remembers your name when you walk in the door. We hired a personal trainer Brian or Bryan? for our teenage son. Our son says he's extremely thorough, friendly and knowledgeable. He said he enjoys working out here more than another gym we are members of bc this one is so friendly. I cannot recommend this place any higher. In fact, I will be soon ending my other gym membership, and join here once my other contract is up. You won't be disappointed in this gym.
