This garage is exactly as the name implies. Peter at the front desk will not only give you a fair price, but will also tell you if a job is too technical for their shop to diagnose. For mechanical work you can trust these guys.

My son has taken his car to Honest Engine a few times and received great service for a fair price. My husband and I took both our cars there after receiving quotes from several other places that said we had had massive oil leaks and that I needed front end work for upwards of $800. To my surprise we didn't need it. I highly recommend!  My family will now only go to Honest Engine !!

I took my 92 Volvo 240 to the Volvo Village Dealership on rt.19. After a $130 diagnostic, I was advised to replace my alternator, battery, and to have a wire-harness assembly custom fabricated to the tune of an additional $900. Took the same car to Craig at Honest Engine, and after a "free" diagnostic, was fixed in 30mins. for a total of $20. Typical, who's to say. What I will say, is that experience with Honest Engine, and each that followed, has led me to recommend the shop at every opportunity.

Always treated fairly.... These guys only do what is needed and don't try to run up the price. I've sent my family here multiple times after getting sky high quotes at other places and they always beat the quote. I would recommend this garage to anyone. Very satisfied with all their work!
