Meineke Car Care Center has been America’s local auto repair shop since 1972. Starting out as a muffler shop we have expanded to a full service car repair shop that performs services from car ac repair to exhaust repair to tire changes at our tire shop. Needed an oil change while traveling and did not have access to my own equipment. I brought my own oil and filter as I am picky with my oil changes. Was told it would be $20 for the oil change, which quickly became $30 with shop fees, taxes, and other "additional" fees. No biggie. 15 minutes later I get my car back and find out the mechanic put in more oil than necessary (4.
9 qts vs 4.4)- not the end of the world, but why? He also did a 20 point inspection (which was not mentioned before hand- I maintain my own car and only needed an oil change). Turns out they messed around with my air intake filter and my MAF sensor threw a check engine code. I have a code reader and was able to clear the code, but this was absolutely unnecessary when all I wanted was an oil change. Overall, a disappointing "oil change".

I can't sing praises about this Meineke location and all the fine folks that work there enough. I went in for an oil change on 07/29/17 and it turned out to be such a GREAT customer service experience. During their inspection, they noticed that my hood latch was broken and fixed it! I had been driving around for about 3 months with a bungie cord holding it down because I hadn't had time to deal with it. When I offered to pay them for fixing it, they refused payment. The mechanic (I wish I had gotten his name) told me "no charge, it was just a broken spring and we had one here. It's much safer than you driving around with it tied down." Never have I experienced customer service like this from an automotive shop. This is a great place with great people. Their prices are more than reasonable, their work is high quality, and the people are great. Trust me when I say there are plenty of bad shops on Seminole Blvd but this isn't one. I will never come back to this place and urge others to do the same. We were new to the area but loyal to Meineke. We especially were motivated by the fact that Frank publicizes that he is a veteran. My husband is too.  We don't want to get into the whole story except to say we returned to the location three times in one day. Our car is worse off and further damaged than it was when we brought it in.  Here is the thing to keep in mind - they sent us off the first, second and third time with an admitted problem done to our car, and yet they did nothing to fix the car, or show any sign of remorse or customer service. Please don't waste your time and find a new, well trained mechanic.

Two young gentleman went above and beyond in their willingness and patience to help me, probably sensing that I was desperate and exhausted!  They were both generous and kind.  I am appreciative and thankful.

Even when they were short handed they got my brakes done fast and efficiently. Friendly front counter staff. Waiting room could be better. Faces the sun in the morning and is very very hot. Other than that great!
