Story

Saddler of Orlando is a specialty tack shop catering primarily to Central Florida's English riding market, while also offering a selection of Western tack and accessories. We first opened our doors in January of 1991, and have since grown to become Central Florida's largest and most complete tack store! Our employees are friendly, knowledgeable, and ready to assist you today. We like to get to know our customers on a first name basis, so that when you walk through our front door, you become a part of our family.

After reading previous reviews, I think that my situation was a fluke, but a major problem nonetheless. My daughter was looking for a specific item for braiding hair for a horse show next weekend and they did have the item she wanted. While looking at the product, the female owner came up and accused us of stealing on a previous visit,m and stated that they had video footage of this. After contemplating how I wanted to handle this situation, I chose to want to see this footage that didn’t actually schist, according to the owners son, who was now involved. The owner was extremely unprofessional, approaching a first time customer of stealing from them. I will not be back, that’s for sure. Again, this may have been a fluke, but a horrible experience.

I’m so glad Horstmeyer exists! I can get everything I need for my critters of my little urban farm, and then some. If I ever need anything all I have to do is ask, someone (normally Rodney he’s super nice) will answer!  It’s hard to resist the baby chicks when I’m there and hard not to look at the posts on the community board at the front of the store, which has been a big help in getting and re-homing critters. This feed store has about everything backyard pets will ever need!

I like this feed store, it's open 6 days a week. Like the employee's,  very friendly and knowledgeable. They carry a fair amount of variety,  including organics and community oriented.

Best customer service anywhere in town. I buy farm fresh milk they're always fresh and excellent. Best pine cat litter you can find at the cheapest price .awesome place!!!
