I stayed at this hotel 6 years ago and it was nice then. Now it's really nice! The hotel itself is old but the interior is very nice. And so are the staff ...how could you not be nice when you get to see beautiful La Jolla everyday? The rooms are very comfortable and modern. The pool area and bar is quite nice to relax in. I would highly recommend this place as it is a nice hotel and within walking distance to restaurants, shops, and the beach.

Hotel was nice for the most part. Staff very friendly but we were on 3rs floor by the pool. It was very noisy with pool, music and street noise. They put noise cancelling noise machine in room which is great for people who like noise when they sleep but I don't so sleep was poor. Plus their light switches have bright lights on them which were at eye level. Room was clean bed was very soft and a bit broken down pillows small and super soft. Just not a good night sleep for me.

Nice hotel. Quiet...well maintained. Staff was always friendly. Well located for beach and University.

Good views from the top floor bar and friendly service. There is only valet parking at the hotel though which bugged me because I didn't want to have to pay $15 to spend more money inside.

Loved this hotel. So close to the little La Jolla Shores town, and a short walk through town to the beach. Funky laid back vibe. I love that the rooms all look out toward the ocean. Great views. Great upstairs dining in the roof!
