I was there for a private event. On the beach were long tables filled with diners. It was a calm,,beautiful sky,above the blue/ green water . The event was inside with delicious appetizers and drinks. A very attractive room and a great location. I looked out at the peacefulness of the water and new I wanted to come back here. I wished that I had taken a picture of the ocean, before it got too dark

We have been coming here for several years for our family reunion. The grounds, beach, food, etc. is always great! However, this year has been less than comforting with several issues including misinformation between staff, getting moved from our room last minute to accommodate another guest (and the ultimatum of "take it or leave it"), poor response times to service requests, and some incredibly rude staff when issues arose. This has been our first time having issues and poor customer service, and the operations manager came to us in person to apologise for the issues. It seems they plan on implementing changes for next year, so we are hopeful and will be returning (up to this point we were set on somewhere else next year given the issues we faced). All in all, they have been a great property run by great people. Time will tell how this holds up.

This is a very nice hotel right on the ocean. It's a fairly close drive into town which is a plus. The hotel has a bit of an old school feel and is very charming. We enjoyed our stay and would return.

Our room was feet from the beach. Room was a bit dated but it had all the necessities. Friendly service

The premier place to be a late Jolla local. Enjoy one of the only remaining private beaches in California with service staff, towels, chairs and umbrellas so you don't really have to bring anything. Pool, tennis courts, showers, dining room, clean family bathrooms etc.
