We really enjoyed our stay at the Travelodge La Jolla Beach. The staff was amazing, the rooms were comfortable and a convenient walk to the beach and restaurants. I must say that Trish was excellent. She was so warm and inviting. Helped us whenever we called or visited the front desk. After traveling throughout California for the past few weeks, she was the best and by far the hospitable of all the service workers we encountered. We will definitely stay at the hotel before we leave to go back to NYC.

Awesome place to stay! Free WiFi, and parking. They also have free waters, a microwave, and a refrigerator. 5 minute walk to the beach. The staff came in the morning to ask us if we needed anymore towels or coffee. I love it there!

Old but worth the money. You get what you pay for in a pricey place. It is clean and it is enough for one or two nights. More than than that you begin to realize you deserve better. If you are botter by old carpet, stained linen and used furniture cross the street and go to Holliday Inn. If not, save some bucks and spend on smth else. Either way, San Diego is a nice place and this is the neighborhood to stay.

It is what it is: very cheap near the beach. It's clean enough, but dated in the rooms. The staff is great and so was the price.

Relaxing! Came here on our anniversary because of a recommendation from a local . We didn't care for the ground floor so Olga suggested the lone suite on the 3rd floor. Very nice and big with a new bedspread and carpet. It also has a large private outside area with shaded tables and lounge chairs. We could see the ocean from here. They gave us a really good deal which was much appreciated. The beach is just a short walk down the street and we were impressed with the huge boulders that the waves crashed into, throwing up a mist which produced colorful rainbows. The Mexican restaurant is across the street and a snug little breakfast nook just around the corner. Olga (and the other girl, can't think of her name ) would ask where we planned to go each day and then offered excellent suggestions. I didn't care for the free breakfast but this was a minor inconvenience. Had a great time here and would definitely come back.
