Last night was terrible! I've been coming to this location for at least ten years and I've never had a bad experience. I actually love this place but last night didn't seem like the old houstons I'm used to at all. I didn't see one staff member that looked familiar and the food itself was heartbreaking. My steak was barbaric and undercooked and my greens looked as if they were just thrown on the plate. Our chips for the spinach dip were oily and cracked as if they scraped it from the bottom of the barrel. Apparently, presentation isn't important anymore. I'm not sure what's going on but I hope this isn't the new norm at this place because it would be so sad to this gem turn into a dud after so many years of consistent great service. What happened???

A great restaurant dining experience.  Very polite staff,  great food,  quick service.  Not a cheap experience but a very nice place to go for special occasions.  Usually at least a 20 to 30 minute wait to get seated due to being consistently busy,  so plan accordingly.  Take your time and enjoy the atmosphere.

One of my favorite restaurants in Bergen County! I have been dining here for years and the food is always delicious and the service is impeccable. The spinach and artichoke dip is a great way to start your dining experience with them. I usually get a cheeseburger or the fresh fish of the day. There seasonal apple crisp is out of this world. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a great night out.

Been here several times, recently for my birthday. My wife and I have always enjoyed our Houston's  experiences. Classy ambience, great service, simple elegant menu, the quality of the food speaking for itself. Tried their jumbo cocktail shrimp, prime rib san, baby back ribs, prime filet, and the peach cobbler pie... all highly recommended, from one foodie to another.

A bit pricey but well worth it. Great steak and tres leches dessert. Friendly staff.  A bit of a wait with reservation but without reservation will be a much longer wait.  I had a great experience overall. Love the food!!!!
