For less than $90, you get what you pay for. Hotel has an odd smell. Rooms are dated and dingy. The room we stayed in had dirty walls and hadn't been properly dusty in a while. TV, lampshades, and top of headboards all had a thick layer of dust on them. They do have a nice pool. We found out that they charge $2 per person to use their waterslide while we were checking in. However, there are no signs up in the pool area stating this and no one to enforce it, as we saw plenty of people using the slide without wristbands. Doesn't seem fair to pay for it if no one is going to enforce it and prevent non paying people from using it. We booked here because it was affordable, but will probably not book or recommend it again due to the cleanliness.

The beds and rooms were great. T.v. had the usual channels. The pool was wonderful had a slide, two hot tubs, and a sauna. The hot tubs jets were a little lacking but it was passable. Breakfast was okay, eggs were bad and the bananas were bright green but the rest of the food was at least decent. Overall it was a pretty good place to stay.

Great hotel and staff, but a bit small. We were moved here after an issue with another hotel being dirty. The HoJo was able to squeeze us in and they took good care of us. The rooms are a bit cramped, but I was not there to live, I was there to sleep, then roam Billings, so the small room was not an issue. The pool is decent sized and has a slide. The breakfast was good as well. The biggest things is that this place was CLEAN, I like that.

I realize you get what you pay for, which is why I don't usually make complaints. I usually stay at Super 8, but Howard Johnson boasted a cheaper rate. Since this was an emergency hotel stay, I opted for the cheaper room. Turns out the room was not cheaper. I booked online and told them I had two dogs. I looked online for rates for pets and didn't see anything to tell me the cost. I am use to a $10 fee or maybe a $20 total fee. I was surprised when I checked out and the cost was $25 per pet- $50 total. That is almost the cost of the room itself for one night. I wish these prices would have been listed on the website or I would have been told the cost upon arrival- not check out. The room itself was about the size of a closet. The wifi didn't work and the AC was not adequate. Again- having the thought that I was paying a low price, I tolerated these inconveniences. If I had known how much the cost would increase with the pet fees, I would have stayed elsewhere. Not worth that amount of money.

No warning that the "$71.00 deal" that was quoted on Google places was incorrect. We paid $97 total (with AAA). Room smelled like Coco Puffs and smoke. Lights didn't work upon entering the room. Oh, yeah and they lost our reservation... in a whopping 2 hour span of it being made. (At least our room was on the ground lvl I guess.) AC outdated, but at least it works. I bet the place could rock if they were more into trying. Rooms are large, beds are comfortable and its got a pool and free breakfast plus its close to HWY 90. However not impressed with the parking or loosing of reservations... especially during a hard to reserve time of year. 2 ☆ is what it is.
