I was sent by a friend. I started to have problems with my car shaking a little and taking a little while to start. I was told by a few places that I needed engine work which was going to run me about $1,000. I took it to this shop after about 20 minutes I was told I needed new spark plugs and cables that mine were fried. After we order the parts and an hour later I was on my way. Haven't had any problems shaking stopped. So glad I was sent to this shop. Honest mechanics are hard to find.

Had an issue with the parking brake the other night. My girlfriend took it to Howard's the next day without any appointment. They put the car on a lift to look things over and checked the parking brake. Found no issues at all and didn't charge us a cent.

I have been to Howard's several times.  He is the most honest and knowledgeable mechanic on earth.  There is nothing he doesn't know about cars, trucks, boats, planes, etc.  If you are having engine or drivetrain issues, go to Howard.  The last time I went in was to get a second opinion... The fella's at Stingray Auto in Seattle quoted me $600, Howard put it up in the air and pried the backing plate off of the disc and said, "There you go." He didn't charge me a dime.  He has done my entire front end suspension a few years back.  I don't remember how much he charged but it was FAIR. He is a mechanic because he loves working on cars.  Take your car to Howard's.

Price was reasonable over all I was happy with there service good honest mechanic.

Having a good mechanic is like having a good doctor. Howard' s Automotive is one of the last honest car shops. Fair prices and reliable service from someone that knows cars.
