We trailered 2 bikes from MA to TN to see the eclipse on Aug 21st. I had made the reservation back in January and by the time of the eclipse they were full up. Lori and Jack are two of the nicest people you could meet. They run a top notch operation, very clean facilities. We never had to wait on showers or the bathroom. I even remarked how good the water pressure was. Wether you are staying in a cabin (thank goodness for a/c) or a campsite, you won't be disappointed. Access to great riding is only minutes away. We look forward to coming back!

Hunt's Lodge was a great experience for my significant other and myself. We had not had an overnight camp on the motorcycle before and this seemed like a good compromise between full camping or staying at a hotel. The amenities were great. The camp sites were clean, clear, and well spaced. The best part was the clean shower facilities after a long hot day of riding. We will definitely be heading back for our next trip and I hope the next time we need a motorcycle campground it is at least half as nice as this one. I only have one nit pick. The lighting around the main house and entrance is quite bright. Great for security but horrible for people that need darkness to sleep or star gazing unless you strategically place your tent/vehicle.

Rolled in late at office closing time.  Owner was very nice and accommodating.  She explained everything and personally directed me to my tent site.   New and clean bathroom/showers.     Everything you need when camping on your bike and priced right.     Even free coffee.      Will be staying here again on future trips.

Very nice location near the Cherahola Skyway. Owners very friendly and accommodating. Facilities include washers, vending machines, restrooms, cabins, and more. Quiet location and nice scenery. Highly recommended, we will be back!

UPDATE: staying in one of the cabins this year... very nice and cozy. Will be back again!

One of the best campgrounds I've ever had the pleasure of staying, would highly recommend to anyone looking to camp, not just motorcyclist! Had one of the cleanest, nicest bathroom and shower facility's of any campground I've been to both public or privately owned. The owners could not have been more informative, understanding, or helpful as they gave us their personal phone number and even assisted us in shipping out packages while we were staying there. This is a must stay destination if your in the area on your bike as they have a bike washing area, tire changing stand, bike jack, vise, work bench, air compressor and some basic tools. Excellent stop for riders doing the Trans American trail, tail of the dragon, or just passing through. their cabins looked so clean I'd stay in one of those over a cheap motel any night and it couldn't be located in a more quiet and picturesque setting with the mountains surrounding and nothing but the sound crickets chirping at night, no traffic noise even in a tent. Great campground at a very reasonable price, can't ask for more than that.
