We had cabin 1 and our other family members rented 3 and 4. We love the cozy cabin and our cabin had a full kitchen setup. Great get away for the price, and Bald River Falls just down the road.

Beautiful cabins and townhouses. I have stayed in both! We love the Cherokee forest, and the town of Tellico Plains! Lots to do and lots to see, whether you're an outdoorsman, or a house mouse. The personnel there are wonderful. I would recommend Mountain View Cabin Rentals to everyone!

We have stayed at Mountain View for years and always had good luck and clean rooms with positive experiences. Until now..... We were awoke at 2am in the bear track cabin from an infestation problem. Im not a bug expert but they looked like ants with wings. My wife got bit, I got bit, but got up in a daze and then fell back to sleep. Later around 4:30 we were awoke again from ants in the bed with ups and all over the wall at head of bed. Found them all in bed, our hair and bodies. We were absolutely mortified!!!!! Needless to say we lost much sleep we needed badly after traveling that day. Upon checking out we decided to calmly address the issue since we were regulars and felt we knew them well enough that they would help us. To our shock we got the deer in the headlights look. NO apology, NO refund, NO discount on next stay, NOTHING!!!!...I posted pics on Facebook. We have decided there is WAY to much competition in the area and will look elsewhere for lodging. Please be aware and do your research.

Nice little cabin -price is great. Good place to sleep and shower. But being in the woods we realized there would be bugs. When we checked in we put our luggage in the cabin and left. Returning about 5 hours later in the dark there were ants and flying ants all over the lights that we left on. Calling to see if I could get help with the problem there was no answer even on the emergency number. We spent the next hour and a half smashing and killing bugs with whatever we could find. At one point they were even crawling on the bed. After a sleepless night I finally got ahold of the office. She offered to move us to another cabin at an additional charge of $20 a night. It was not our fault. So she didn't seem to concerned or helpful. She finally agreed to send a cleaning person out to clean and spray. My suggestion is if you rent from them bring your own spray and fly swatter and pray you don't have a big emergency cause you are on your own.

This was a wonderful place to stay.There was an issue with bees around the cabin we were suppose to stay in,but the bees were somehow getting inside the cabin.The lady working the office (Phyllis),really sweet lady,and a very nice gentleman named Steve,took care of the issue a.s.a.p...They couldn't do anything about the bee's,but they did upgrade us to a really nice & bigger cabin with no extra charge.It was right on the river,beautiful and very,very peaceful.We def.will be going back!!!Exceptional Customer Service!!!Thank you Phyllis & Steve!!!
