Hutchs bicycles is a great shop in Bend with Specialized as their main line. Extremely nice staff and highly qualified mechanics make it a great place. Well merchandise inside and lots of parking outside. They also have stores in Klamath Falls, Redmond, and a second store on Bends westside.

The dudes in the back are normally way helpful, fix anything almost on the spot if they have time. I'm grateful for that, the service from the kid at the desk up front was horrid, awkward and he had no interest in greeting his customers. I asked a couple questions and he would look at me.. an not answer. I said, I just got a new bike an I'm excited. He looked at me like I was in the wrong place. Glad bend has many more bike shops for me to choose from in the future.

Best place to get help for my bike! The staff is very knowledgeable and friendly. I can always get help for what I need. The prices to get things fixed are reasonable. The other day I went to get a my front tire fixed; it had a flat. They helped me get my bike in and out of my car; I am older and have back problems. Somehow, I forgot to pay, it was very crowded; and i forget at my age, lol. I called later and was able to pay over the phone and they took off the price of labor for me since I was honest, I guess. I've gone here many times and I think they are wonderful! They also have great products for your bike, bike wear, and lots of bikes. Best place for bikes ever!

Rented a road bike here for a National Championships race in town. I knew it wouldn't be a super race-appropriate (fast) bike, but hey, it was $45.00 for the day! Except for that when I got to the store and the guy informed me their system "messed up" and it would actually be $58.50 and that he "hoped I am okay with that." Given that I had just traveled from Minneapolis to Portland and then driven down to Bend and had no other option for a bike to ride in the race the next day - I had to be "okay with that." Store's mistake - they should have given me the bike for the price I reserved it for. I even showed him that my e-mail said it would cost $45.00 upon pickup. The man who helped us was very kind otherwise, but the process was so incredibly slow. To get myself and my friend's bike checked out took almost an hour of sitting there waiting for him to get our payments processed and in the system. Lastly, the blonde girl, whose name I didn't catch, who works there had a rude attitude with us both days we were there - pickup and return. That was the unfortunate cherry on top of our Hutch's experience.
